The project “Isolation. After.”
During the global pandemic, some people experienced an internal transformation that dramatically changed their attitude to the world. Convinced of their superiority over others, they deliberately rejected society, plunging into a state of absolute self-isolation.
WHO studies show that about 2% of the adult population of the planet have chosen a reclusive lifestyle, shutting themselves in four walls and cutting off all social ties. In the captivity of illusions of greatness, they imagined themselves to be God-chosen beings carrying the absolute truth.
However, every day this mental prison shrank more and more. Shutting themselves off from the outside world, the recluses sank deeper into the abyss of loneliness and self-deception. Their existence was reduced to imprisonment in the confined space of their own home.
And now, some time after the pandemic, humanity is faced with a new threat — the phenomenon of social exclusion, which has become the norm of life for thousands of people around the world.
